WHO ARE WE?

Apollo Marine International

Apollo Marine was established in 1999 in Sri Lanka. Our main activities are processing and exporting fresh and frozen fish, prawns and cuttlefish. Our transport, reception, processing, and dispatch areas are all refrigerated. We can tailor the product to the client’s specification in terms of cut, grade, packaging, and barcoding.

We have a global customer base which includes UK, Europe, Switzerland, Canada, Japan, USA, Australia, and China. We process and export fish on a daily basis. Our factory is operational 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. We have a fully electronic bespoke traceability system from vessel to customer. The company recently set up a separate facility with Individual Quick freezing (IQF) Line for the processing of Value added Vannmei prawns and other seafood products. On-site laboratory for Histamine, Protein, Antibiotic residue, and Microbiological testing. BRC Food Safety Accredited Grade AA.

Athena Aquaculture

Athena Aquaculture is a BOI Approved company established in 2004 to undertake the supply of farmed species to the company and it is a fully owned Subsidiary of Apollo Marine International (pvt) Ltd,It is one of the largest aquaculture farms in Sri Lanka for the Farming of Vannamei prawns, Tilapia and Pangasius for export and local market. Our farm consists of 51 Square ponds and 18 Round tanks in an extent of 158 acres. This is one of the pioneering farms that has laid geomembrane in the ponds which has minimized diseases and water usage. We also have our own in house Hatchery for Tilapia and Pangasius. We also harvest from other farms in Sri Lanka and provide an end-to-end process in terms of harvesting, transportation, processing and packing in our dedicated factory.

Apollo Feed Mill

As a part of our sustainable cleaner technologies program fish by-products are converted into fish meal which is the main protein source of the Fish and prawn feed made in the same facility which are used to feed the fish and prawns farmed by Athena Farm and other Aquaculture farms.
